what is the survival rate for cerebral hemorrhage coma?

if patients with cerebral hemorrhage become comatose, their survival rate is very low, generally no more than 30%. the survival rate of cerebral hemorrhage coma is affected by the location of the bleeding, the amount of bleeding, and whether effective, timely and correct treatment is received.
if the bleeding site is located in the brainstem, the survival rate of the comatose patient is almost zero, because the brainstem is the respiratory and circulatory center of the human body, and brainstem bleeding can easily cause respiratory and circulatory arrest.
the mortality rate of cerebellar hemorrhage is also relatively high. if the amount of bleeding in the cerebellar hemisphere exceeds 30ml, it may cause pressure on the ventricles and cause cerebral herniation, causing respiratory arrest. the survival rate generally does not exceed 30%.
in addition, the prognosis for hemorrhage in the cerebral hemisphere is relatively good. unless the amount of bleeding is extremely large, more than 50% of patients can survive as long as they receive timely medication and surgical treatment.
