if patients with cerebral hemorrhage develop deep coma, their mortality rate is high.
patients lose all responses to the outside world, including pain, speech and motor functions. patients often experience unstable vital signs such as high fever, changes in respiratory rhythm and frequency. in severe cases, cerebral edema or even brain herniation may occur, and patients often die from respiratory failure in a short period of time. or circulatory failure, and a small number of surviving patients have lost the ability to eat and move independently because they cannot voluntarily expel sputum. patients are often bedridden for a long time and are prone to pneumonia, bedsores, urinary tract infections, deep vein thrombosis of the lower limbs, or fractures. and other serious complications.
particularly severe cases may even require tracheal intubation and tracheotomy, and ventilator-assisted breathing treatment. the patient may also die of respiratory and circulatory failure soon after.
